I had dis new idea this week to make badges with crocheted frames. I had this rainbow yarn that I wanted to use and I thought it would match  kurse the rainbow snow leopard quite well. :3 This worked out just the way I hoped it would, if not better! I didn't actually run into any glitches like I would normally expect to when trying a new project. I also tried out my new colored inking pens! ^-^ I love love love using colors to outline the sketch rather than all black! I will use it more often now. If I make any more of these badges, I can make different shapes as well as add charms or little crocheted decorations such as flowers, hearts, or any other small simple pieces. There is a loop on the back for the badge clip, and the artwork is actually woven onto the frame very securely. This one is about 6 inches long. I'm thinking these will be around $15-$20. I will hopefully be posting a list soon of all the crafty extra things I have accumulated for adding to badges, including tiny swarovski crystal charms! ^-^
