You have my sympathies. I was waiting for a bus once when the guy I sat next to went from "you look like Jesus." to "can I touch you?" in about 5 minutes. I stood the next 4 hours. Social awkward can be really uncomfortable.

uh that sounds like straight up harassment, and that man was probably not sane.

Yeah, definitely a bit off his rocker. He didn't mean to be unpleasant, but it was still remarkably creepy. He's one of the reasons I don't take busses often anymore. Hopefully whomever took my seat looked less like Jesus (and in all fairness, I kinda did back then.)

Heh, not as fun as the other time I was mistaken for a messiah. Was taking a friend's friend for a walk while the friend was getting back from work. I carefully stepped on some clear ice for a few moments before it cracked. ...turns out the guest was from a hot climate and had never seen natural ice before; I basically walked on water for a moment. Quite the introduction to North America for a lad from Israel.

I hope the vent art helps offer some catharsis by the way. My problems might be different, but I'm always happy to offer some empathy. Being stuck in a meat and neuron puppet can really suck at times.

I have a policy on hugs. First contact, then online friendship. Get further along. THEN it's hugs when we meet. No sooner. (Hugging random strangers seems..terrifying)
