What you see here is a genuine original Woody Woodpecker head made by Shafton Costumes that was rescued from a dumpster 15- 20 years ago and refurbished by me. Everything from the neck down is new and made by me as true to the original design as possible. When Universal Studios throws away a costume they cut them up into pieces so people like me don't retrieve them from the trash and sell them or wear them around at Halloween or whatever. 15 - 20 years ago I bought a whole pile of cut up Woody heads for $50 from a collector who found them in a dumpster.
