Dai and his bicycle =3
Here's the picture of 
dai_lightfox's fursona I was finally able to color after one year and three days after I did the sketch XP
It's his fursona taking a break from cycling, showing off his bicep to DJ while he just takes a photo of it ^^
I did the background completely without outlines and it is based onto the saxon-switzerland national park along the riverside. You can see the river, the surrounding forest and a railroad^^
I hope you all like it =3

*hört einfach mal auf zu atmen vor Begeisterung*
Oh Gott die Schatten lassen die Muskeln meines Fursonas knallhart wirken X3 rawrrr
und ich kann echt keine anatomischen Fehler finden Oo
Ich nehme das jetzt als Motivation mein kleines Fuchsi... wie du schon sagtest mindestens 2-3 mal Fahrrad fahren in der Woche (Ausnahme: Bei Krankheit oder Pfui-Regen :p )
Denn was die meisten Leute nicht wissen: Der Polarfuchs hat mir ein klasse Fahrrad gebaut, dass ich dolle liebhab genau wie den DJ.
Danke!Danke!Danke!Danke! Für das ultra-super-sexy-Bild meines Fursonas! Und an alle die es nicht verstehen wollen: Kunst braucht Zeit... Ich find es klasse, dass du nur an dem Bild gemalt hast, wenn du wirklich Lust dafür hattest. Deswegen ist es in meinen Augen perfekt.... sowas bekommt man nicht in einer aufgezwungenen Commission... es muss von Herzen kommen und dir spaß machen beim Zeichnen.
Mir fällt einfach nichts ein, dass meine Begeisterung für dieses Bild richtig ausdrücken könnte... hoffe, dass du jetzt nicht unzufrieden bist mit diesem Comment hab mich dolliglich angestrengt =3

Okay, you've asked for it - here I come!
It's only normal and polite to comment on my best buddies' artworks - this is not about "who's in my watchlist". But I want to thank you once more for showing me this artwork and asking for my opinion.
So, here it is!
In fact, there is quite nothing "negative" to write about this wonderful piece of art. I think, I will just list up the aspects, which came to my mind while watching.
1) The character DAI is lovely drawn and strong in his pose and expression. His biceps - which you and we all enjoy *grins* - is a hard, round ball of muscle flesh...! But it's not only THIS special part of the body... his whole body is flexed, strong, well build and handsome. It's not even "too buff", no way (or I got used to it by now *grins* ) ! The body is accurate, athletic and just very strong. You've again done an excellent job on the anatomy and proportion... and this one here is really NOT a "DJ"... it's someone else, and that's nice to see. Don't get me wrong, I still enjoy "DJ" above all... but it is not easy to really draw DIFFERENT characters. And you did well!
2) It was an excellent choice to paint the background with NO hard outlines!!!! Indeed, you should do that more often - even if it requires a huge amount of discipline and marker colours. XD
The fading background details... the trees, river, distant houses and the sunlight (which is the very BEST part of all) adds a distinctive and harmonious expression and feeling to the background. I just love watching it! ^___^
3) The bicycle is greatly drawn! No matter if you had any model or not - I've always looked up to these MANGA artists, who draw bicycles or cars just so easily...!!! And well, this bike looks totally believable and functional.
4) The choice of colours and shading is amazing here. Personally, despite of my love for DJ, I think that DAI's brown skin colour is very "grateful", when it comes to shading. The body structure, the skin and the lighting is extraordinary well done here!
Also, all brown (earth like) colours work well together and it's a grande harmony of colour tones.
5) The base shadow on the road adds weight and realism to both character and bike! It's the part where you can make the most terrible mistakes... but you've mastered it with brilliance!
There are but 2 small aspects, which could've been done better:
A) DAI's eye
I think, it's not really clear in WHAT direction DAI is looking. Maybe, he should either focus on his bike, the landscape OR the watcher (ourselves)!
I know... it's darn hard to get the position of the eye perfect. But take this under consideration. ^^
You would add a great deal of "character+viewer-connection", if the character would LOOK AT US!!!!!!!
B) I think, the position if his RIGHT LEG/RIGHT FOOT on the ground is not correct. If we watch at the left foot, which appears lower, the right foot should be even at a lower level. It's just about "placing the character in a perspectival sourrounding" here.
Yeah. That's the only flaw I can see!

:-D Im Grunde hätte ich das schon beim ersten comment tun sollen und nach ReptileCynrik's übertrieben langen comment fällt einem leider nicht mehr viel neues ein...aber was solls...
zum Hintergrund...
Habe mir mal eine Reihe versch. Gallerien mit Bildern von der Gegend dort angeschaut, speziell wo der Fluss das Motiv war.
Der Hintergrund mag zwar nur darauf basieren, verglichen mit dem Original schaut er jedoch richtig gut getroffen aus.
Anhand der Häuser, der Schienen oder der Flusses könnte man sogar fast mutmaßen wo Dai dort gestanden hat
Das Fahrrad muss bei den vielen kleinen Dinge wie den Speichen und der Radgabel ja eine Mordsarbeit gewesen sein, sowohl zeichnerisch als auch colorier-technisch.
Wenn meins nur noch so gut aussehen würde. xD
Dai selber...
Im Hinblick auf die frühere Möglichkeit ihm ein etwas grimmigeres "zeig mir deine Zähne" Gesicht zu geben, war die Entscheidung für das lächelnde Gesicht hier goldrichtig und passt zum Gesamtbild.
Was bei seinem Fell gut ausschaut, sind die vielen kleinen Details die ihm Struktur geben und z.B. trotz des kugelrundes Bizep immernoch recht weich erscheinen lassen.
Die Übergänge an Unterarmen und Beinen hin zum dunkleren Fell, ebenso an anderen Stellen des Fells, schauen meiner Meinung nach gut aus und sind nicht zu hart...
xD Ein klein wenig aus der Fassung geraten könnte man wenn man sich die kurzen Shorts mal genauer anschaut die durch die Schattendetails und Linienführung so eng anzuliegen scheinen, dass man sich fragt ob der Dai sich damit überhaupt noch bewegen kann. ^^
trotz alledem ein klein wenig Kritik...
ReptileCynrik sagte zwar schon, dass der recht Fuß für ihn ein klein wenig höher zu stehen scheint als der linke,
jedoch...<_< ah wie soll ich das jetzt sagen...seh ich das ein klein wenig anders. :-P
Ich versuch's mal mit "räumlichen Vorstellungsvermögen" zu begründen:
Ausgehend von den Beinen, welche in der leicht schrägen Position in der Dai steht, beide relativ gleich lang zu sein scheinen und aufgrund dessen das Dai's linkes Bein leicht nach hinten gestreckt zu sein scheint damit er nicht nach hinten wegfällt, sieht die unterschiedliche Höhe der beiden Füße nur auf der ersten Blick etwas "komisch" aus.
Ich weiß, man kann Bilder auch überinterpretieren, aber ich hatte halt gerade soviel Zeit. ^^
