Yep still obsessed.
MARQUISE
In the future, the catfolk are much the same, still militaristic, invasive and alien. However, they are as ever industrious. The vast majority of the catfolk’s armies are comprised of ‘drafted citizens’ who live as comfortable severed heads back home while their headless bodies go to war. The headless bodies are of course very obedient, but if captured (and therefore separated from their commanding officer) are useless, easily conditioned to be little more than horny playthings.
EYRIE
In the future, the birdfolk still consider themselves the rightful rulers of the Woodland, and still have to deal with the decree, the noble lineage, the Council. The Council is a vast Roost where every brain is removed and loaded into a vast hivemind that controls the Eyrie. When the Council is harmonious, the Eyrie are elegant, perfect warriors. At least twice a year however, the Eyrie enter Turmoil. When the Council disagrees with each other too much, they cannot rule and enter Turmoil. They spend weeks if not months bickering, and during this time the birds are useless, mindless thralls who giddily agree to anything they’re told.
ALLIANCE
In the future, the rabbits, mice, and foxes are still upset over their land being fought over by all these creatures. They’ve become odd techpriests, living in the woods, waiting for opportunities to slip back into the clearings with heavy backpacks hooked up to mind control tech to turn others to their side.
