Marley the friendly sapient zombie catte! He/they/it/whatever was created by a lonely necromancer named Dolores (who I also need to draw) who couldn't make friends due to people being creeped out by her obsession with death, so she decided to 'make a friend' the Frankenstein way instead!

A note on how zombies work in my story universe, also... raising a corpse as a zombie doesn't return their soul, and the soul is where consciousness comes from, so normally zombies can only act on the most basic reflexes and are otherwise just puppets for necromancers to control. Dolores found a way to magically implant Marley with an artificial soul so they can think and feel and be a person. Their body's original occupant was male, but their new zombie soul is agender (they don't really care about pronouns, just whatever).
