Working on the 11-minute prog metal/edm odyssey and laying down more concrete ideas for riffs and lead tracks.
This song is an absolute beast and the longest I'll probably ever work on, making guitar tracks for an 11-minute song is a task and a half.
Since this song is sort of a big deal and a huge feat for me, I'm trying to spare no expense, in terms of complexity, and really pushing myself to play some very difficult stuff and push myself farther than I have before.
This one riff is at its third version and was tough to nail down, I still have to put down some solid di tracks/clean up the performance.
This is going to be a behemoth of a song when it's done.
