This is another part of the new 11-minute odyssey song thing, it's a quad-tracked lead section in the second half that is built upon this harmonization with the lead acid-style synth.
Lead 1 and 2 are playing this constant 2-part harmony of just a simple shape a 4th up in the same key, lead 3 and 4 are playing the same fast melody that goes from simple picked patterns floating around the key to this tapping section that it just going up and down diatonicly across 4 notes.
This all ends with leads 1 through 4 playing this 4-part sustained harmony that doesn't have much thought behind it, but just sort of sounded cool and ended the lead section nicely by making use of all 4 tracks.
Lead 3 and 4 are some of the toughest lead parts I have ever written and so they still need to be cleaned up quite a bit. Definitely left some little blisters on my finger tips just trying to get relatively clean takes for the scratch tracks.
Though despite how challenging this is, I think the end result will be something I can really be proud of after pushing myself this much to make a monster of a song.
