Katsuo the Blaziken again*.

His trainer tells me that Katsuo's a bit of a bishie and has a fluffier chest ruff than most blazikens, and is sometimes mistaken for a girl.

This inevitably spawned questions as to what would happen if his path crossed with any number of strapping young Ladies' Men that fancy themselves Rico Suave', Arceus' gift to females. Guys like Pip,  indigoangelcat's luckless but infinitely hopeful piplup. Pip in particular is known for attempting to kiss fair maidens' hands.

Our musings concluded that it is probably for the best that Pip's brother is a torchic and that as such the piplup has built up a certain amount of Fire tolerance over the years.



...Anyways. To make a long story longer: Indigo picked up some Copic markers and fancy Copic "manga" paper, and I wanted to experiment with them. This is the result. It's darker and more muddled than I'd like, but in my defense, this was my first try with Copic and the Copic paper has a kind of slippery wax surface that forces one to treat markers like watercolors. But it didn't turn out too bad, and hopefully Katsuo's trainer won't mind a surprise freebie. :3
