Getting supplies for the new school year
Hello everycreature again. It is time for a new drawing! It is already September and that means in some countries that the new school year has just begun (in my country school year in reality starts in January, but anyways). I decided to make a new drawing then about this time of the year.
Featuring again our favorite green colored dragon Goldigony, this time she is next to her roomie Spike. They are getting some supplies provided by the school to start the new year with the best possible stuff. Spike is really interested in getting new supplies, especially things like crayons, in the other hoof, Goldie is just waiting to get out of there as soon as possible since she really don't mind it at all...
There isn't honestly a lot of innovation on this new artwork by my part, but I tried out a new posture for Goldigony and also, I didn't make a drawing of those two together in a long while, so this was a great chance to get a better result of an artwork of these two together.
It seems that our new dragon roomies will have soon everything for the new school year nwn
I hope you liked this new artwork. Thank you very much for your support as always, and happy school year beginning for those who did!

Hurray! Getting to see Spike and Goldigony together again is wonderful. The stories you have written and art you have made for Spike & Goldigony in Magic Kindergarten is a lot of fun to follow along with.

The art you made for buying school supplies reminds me of when I would start a semester of university / college. You had to be ready to spend a lot of money you would much rather spend on something else be used to purchase textbooks, notebooks, pens, pencils, and other items. The professor / teacher may not[/i] use all the books and support materials you had to spend a lot of money on, but you had to buy it all to make sure you were ready for whatever you were asked to do for each class / course you had signed up for before you had the opportunity to see the class / course syllabus.
A memory I have from my days earning my Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA) was paying over $140 USD for the current edition textbook for my 'Managerial Finance' class. There were no Used / Pre-Owned copies of this book to buy at the student bookstore. We then arrived to class to learn that our professor only used the book to give us assignments and that the book he referenced to give us our assignments was the previous edition of the textbook. The professor went on to say that whatever he said and wrote upon the blackboard was what we would expect to find on our tests / exams. This meant any methods of solving mathamatical equations for matters of Finance and/or Accounting would be marked as wrong / incorrect if we did not do our work according to how the professor taught us during our weekly, 3 hour class.

For Spike and Goldigony, I imagine that a caretaker from Magic Kindergarten would be keeping a close watch on these darling dragons as they get to try and follow the list and/or instructions provided by the caretakers to get all they needed for the upcoming months of learning new and exciting things.
Spike, who is always looking to make Twilight Sparkle proud of him, would be doing his best to show he is ready to take on such a big responsibility. Goldigony, feeling no need to impress any pony, would be trying to do everything she can to avoid wasting her time on an activity that only makes her have to do more work instead of being able to eat, sleep, and play whenever and however she wants.
Perhaps Princess Celestia, the caretakers, and teachers of Magic Kindergarten will have better luck getting Goldigony to cooperate the next time she and Spike have their turn in buying school supplies?

Oh, if you did not already get my e-mail response, I absolutely loved your Bluey[/i] 'Audio Description'. Thank you so very much. (I can write more details here on FA if you were not able to get my e-mail reply.).

First of all, yes, I received your e-mail Yosh. I'm really happy that you really liked my narrations that much nwn I was really worried that you were not going to be able to understand me, my speaking is clearly limited in this language. I will then send you in the next days a short explanation of my Sweetie Dash's family characters for a better understanding of their context.
You're completely right. Spike is really interested in getting the best supplies for a great performance in his classes. Goldigony in the other hoof isn't interested in classes at all, she just go to them because she has too, besides, her academic performance isn't too good either, so this thing of getting supplies is simply a big waste of time for her.
Yes, I have heard about that thing in the USA about asking for expensive book every semester and not even being able to buy used ones or online books either. It seems there is a kind of weird business were some teachers work as teachers and book sellers as well... Really weird and an extreme representation of capitalism in my opinion. I have also hear how students have to borrow a lot of money to pay their studies. Fortunately for us, even if there are lots of troubles related to public education, well, on public universities (if you get the chance to reach them because it is a really hard competition for reaching a space there) you only have to pay a small amount each semester for your studies, less than the 10% of the total costs of the studies, the rest is covered mainly by regional and national government. Works really well if you ask to me. As I said, there are still lots of troubles in the educational sector including some negligent actions by government, but still, the educational sector has the biggest budget in the country and our educational rates seem to be increasing.
I went to a public university. I never had to buy a book, all the teachers used books that were really easy to get online, other ones were really easy to find in the library, unless a lot of people were wanting for them, but they usually had around 20 samples of each book, and our library had a great and easy system to borrow books with your college ID, or simply read them inside all the time you wanted. That was basically that main way I studied, spending hours in the library next to the books I needed. Books of calculus, physics, chemistry, differential equations, linear algebra, mass transfer, heat transfer, industrial operations, oh yes, lots of books hehe. Oh, and I neither spent a lot of money in supplies. I always had pens and pencils, erasers and I used a notebook with separations for each subject each semester, pretty low cost everything hehe.
