So, I'm putting this in my scraps because I really don't want to clog up my main gallery with this.
Back in university, there was one class that I had to take to graduate. The focus of this class was to create a body of work with a unifying theme. I focused on the idea of obsolescence, with my fursona being in the composition in some way. I used charcoal and drew on small pieces of cardboard you'd find on the back of legal pads.
This one is a bit personal. I own several typewriters, many of which I had to fix and service on my own to get them working again. There was a time when I would continuously write on one in high school when my shitty printer would refuse to work (my school was cheap and refused to let students print anything). Now I write on Google Docs because it's simply easier (and to upload to the internet eventually).
In a way, it also describes my own relationship with writing. I love to write in all forms and highly respect others for keeping up with the craft. But sometimes I "slip" where I'll fall off the edge for a while before coming back to it. I haven't written or finished a story in a few years, and I feel a bit guilty about that.
