Occasionally, I like to play tabletop games. Be it something big and popular like Dungeons & Dragons or something smaller. This year, I played "Die Schwarze Katze" (The Black Cat), a German tabletop game that was brought to the convention by this year's guest of honour. We had a really fun time and whenever I particularly enjoyed a game or a session, I like turning it into a full story. Of course, 90% of what I'm describing is actions taken by players and consequences dealt out by the dice, but they end up still reading well even if you don't play any table top game at all.

Our story is split into prologue and main story, representing our two tiny sessions (one started really late at night and we played for maybe an hour to ninety minutes before we called session due to the late hour), plus a little epilogue. That's not what happened at the table and our lovely Dungeon Master ended with a much cooler, more in-depth description than I could remember at the time for the end of our main chapter, but this epilogue is basically just my head canon of what happens afterwards.

And who knows? Maybe, if we can play this game again next year, our story may just continue...
