nah it's just another chunk of obsidian.

although it probably would be cooler if i just said that it was an eye.

As I've said many times before, I notice eyes in artwork.

Eyes are the gateway to the soul, religious folk may say, and in artwork it may be more difficult to discern motives or what not, they can still add a lot to any piece of done well and in a way that can convey a feeling.

You have always drawn good eyes, and here, combined with your growing shading abilities, it works magnificently!
