Nathile may of been adopted into a royal family as a lost child, but it didn't stop others from ridiculing and belittling him. Being an azurlligator is a rare sight in the kingdom. Princess Rekta was always there for him, which he appreciated. It changed as he grew, and others gave him a chance. Any comments he gets as an adult he ignores unless he really feels it's worth replying to. Such as those that question him being what he is as something suitable for raising Rita.
