After a quick mission to a settlement that had cut off all communications, Shepard and his team found that the place was completely abandoned with no sign of any sentient life. Unknown to them, all of the settlements inhabitants had mysteriously shrunken to the size of Ants. Some particularly unfortunate tinies ended up getting stomped on by Liara, who wasn't wearing any shoes for some reason. The poor guys were carried all over their home and back onto the Normandy, all without Liara noticing them.
Once back in her quarter's, Liara decided know was a good time to rest up, still unaware of her tiny passengers. The tinies' only hope is that the giant Asari finds them, preferably before she stands up again.
