Born from the union of Mortana and the moon deity Asmodi, Hane is the demi-god of the autumn months and watcher of the deep woods of the world. Very much like his sire, Asmodi, he often comes off with a cold-sounding, deadpan demeanor. But there is a hint of playfulness in there from Mortana, and he is known to show compassion in his own blunt way. He usually keeps to himself and out of the way of mortals, whom may only catch a glimpse of him deep in the forests. Peering from behind trees, glowing eyes in the deep fog, or the sounds of breaking branches nearby. Any who do happen to see him can very easily tell it is him thanks to the leafy orange cloak they see upon his viage before it vanishes. He is very much akin to a cryptid in his ways. He and the goddess Deva are a close pair, as she both are a sort of patron gods of hunting. Though Hane is moreso given that moniker as Deva moreso embodies deviancy.

Most of Hane's divine charge is keeping the flow of life and death moving in the natural world, having servants of his keep watch over newborn creatures to ensure the innocent creatures have a chance at life before it is taken by predators. While on the flipside making sure death happens as it should and the cycle of life continues. The hermitic god prone to scaring off would-be hunters who dare to hunt in places they shouldn't be, when they shouldn't be. Doing this to ensure mortal hunters do not fully wipe out races of animals.

Followers of Hane are usually skilled hunters, hikers, other nature explorers. As such they often use bright orange clothing while out in the darker places of nature to make themselves stick out to others like them, as to not accidentally end up as prey themselves. His servants are very cryptid-like in nature skin to his own self. Following his methods of staying out of sight of mortals, at least city-dwelling ones, as much as they can....unless it is them scaring them or messing with them. As stated before, he has a hint of playfulness to his nature. In his own sort of dark humor way. Which is why he meshs so 'well' with Deva and the pumpkin demi-goddess Jaqueline, the latter he teasingly calls the "Gourdian".
