I finally came around to doing a picture of a Diddy's Kong-Quest character! I decided on illustrating one of the antagonistic characters this time. Yes, there's the heroes in the form of Diddy, Dixie and the other Kong members, but on the other side of that DK Coin, are the villainous reptiles known as the Kremlings, which in Diddy's Kong-Quest, are ordered by their boss, the nefarious Kaptain K. Rool, to kidnap the big ape Donkey Kong, and hold him hostage atop the highest castle tower on their home turf -- Crocodile Isle!

🗡️ This here is one of the Kremlings, the rope and height-''scaling'' (Get it? 'cause reptiles have scales) Klinger! He's that one guy who always chooses to go higher up in the ship's masts and look out for any islands on the horizon, except in this instance, he patrols the area by sliding down from ropes, chains and other vertical climable things the Kongs come across. You'll see him the most often in the first world of DKC2, being the wreckage of the Gangplank Galleon from the previous game. But Klinger also hangs around at the K.Rool Kastle Keep in one of the final worlds, and in some of the infamous Bramble Maze levels. I've always liked this guy -- he looks intimidating for a minor villain, but he's also got a heck of an attitude I can't really describe. In his official artwork he even carries a freaking hand knife in his mouth! ...well, it's more like a small dagger actually, but still. Though he's never seen using his weapon in-game. That'd be pretty sick though -- seeing him slide down, to then take his knife and try to slash with it at the Kongs when they dare getting too close.

Such a missed opportunity, I tell ya'.

-- I do have to say, it didn't come out as good as that Rattly one I made a couple months back. Also, after I uploaded the picture, I realized the tail was missing. So I edited the existing picture in Paint 3D and completed the design of the character. To be clear, I am not the owner of this character, the same goes for Rattly and Clapper. They're all owned by Rare, or nowadays -- Microsoft, I guess. But the art of all three mentioned characters was made by me.
