Andrael.



Once upon a time, the Demon King of Lust-- Asmodeus--became infatuated with a Muse. But Melete, being what she was, could not return his feelings. As she could only inspire emotions in others.. possessing none for herself. Furious, and determined to have the Muse, Asmodeus cut out her heart, and replaced it with his own. Forcing her to love him.
Andrael was born from her dreaming. And his mother came to resent him him; viewing the child as the culmination of her abuse. So, she ignored his existence whenever she could. So here was this child, wanting so desperately for his mother to love him.

In an ultimate act of selfless sacrifice, Andrael gave his life; only to have his mother--riddled with guilt over her treatment of this child--to bring him back from the land of the dead.

But something went horribly wrong.

Andrael is one of my oldest characters, next to his mother, and I love him dearly. But cannot draw him to save my life. I erased and redrew parts of this so many times there's scarring on the paper. I am defeated.
