(Just for the record, the impending photo dump I'm about to do will be moved to Scraps sometime later today... Just uploading it to my gallery to see if I can attract a few new watchers from the frontpage. Yay marketing! :D)
I'm uploading a few of the best pictures from the
LA_Furs meet at Griffith Park in Los Angeles last Saturday! One of the most fun meets I've ever been a part of. ^_^
Also because I stayed up way too late and am slightly delirious, I shall impart upon you all fair viewers a silly anecdote which will accompany each picture. Please enjoy.
*dons a reading monocle and opens a storybook, thumbing to the first page of our story...*
One good look and I knew what had to be done. This tree was simply destined to have my tiger bits lustily gripping its hard bark while a cute spotted kitty attempted to suckle my robust tiger tail. With the spotted kitty getting restless and the tree calling to me, begging to wrap my legs around its mighty girth, I obliged hastily and with great zeal, leaping forth to embrace its eager circumference.
As I tightened my grip, the tree asked of me a peculiar request. It had a certain fetish which involved the non-use of hands/paws whilst being pleased. I slowly removed my paws to see if I could support my weight with my legs, and upon discovering my ability to do so, proceeded to fulfill the tree's every pawless wish. A crowd of curious and undoubtedly aroused onlookers began to gather, one whipping out a bright orange horn of sorts and tapping it on his palm rather suggestively. I knew not what that horn would be used for, but I cared not, for the tree had a firm hold of my attention. The cute spotted kitty began to do her thing to my fuzzy, almost oblivious tail, and we were off to the races.
I couldn't stop if I wanted to because, well, releasing my fierce leg grip would have resulted in me plummeting to the ground... that and it just felt so damn good. Plus, with photographers and onlookers all around, the pressure to perform has never been higher. When we were done, the tree and I shared a hearty embrace (with arms this time) and I proceeded to carry on frolicking through the woods aimlessly, as I do every first Saturday of every month. The onlookers proceeded to onlook at something else. The cute spotted kitty will be contacted again, if tail pleasuring activities still tickle her adorable fancy.
(no actual trees were intentionally humped or pleasured in any way in the making of this picture... though I cannot guarantee no one was turned on)
Cue Wood jokes! :D

Hmm, that explains why I never see advertising on NBA jerseys. Funny, in all other sports their uniforms are coated in sponsorship

So they actually don't allow advertising on the NBA Jerseys?

Well, to me I guess being a motorsports fan I accept Corporate logos as part and parcel of it. For that manner I love wearing my Ferrari shirt with the Logos for Puma, Marlboro, Shell, Mubadala and Acer all over it, I guess I've accepted it as part of the fashion statement. For that matter the way they incorporate the sponsor logos on the car liveries are to me a thing of beauty, really, soem of the liveries they make are gorgeous, and the way they incorporate the sponsors is really clever sometimes, but that's me
I guess since basketball is a sport not traditionally associated with Sponsorship all over the jerseys you're not accepting of it, and that's understandable. That is a sudden change so I'm not surprised the prospect of such would horrify you (like the idea of Formula One switching to 4-cylinder engines when we've always used V-12, 10 or 8 engines)
