PATREON: Apollo's Rocketing Weight- Part 4
The final piece to Apollo's summer: Much like the temperature in July, Apollo's weight keeps on piling high! It's fine though, he seems to be okay with it. Enjoy, and if you want to see more content like this early, check out Big Stories here: https://www.patreon.com/bigstories

"P— OURRP! — ah…" Apollo groaned, swallowing a popsicle whole. The eagle had a lot of time to sit back, relax, and think this summer. Maybe it had been a pretty sweet season after all. The eagle was, usually, pretty standoffish. He had been a loner, but now, he was downright popular, his rough edges smoothed out- of course, literally and figuratively, it would be very difficult to find an edge on him at all; now, he was all curves.
The eagle had eaten himself into dimensions that no other villager thought possible at the start of the summer. His belly alone could level some of his friends flat; an enormous, feathery mass the size of a king-size bed that was now dragging along the floor, giving Apollo the look of an iceberg every time he flopped into the pool; one of the best places for him to cool down at his new size. His legs were thicker around than kegs, his thunder thighs contending with his belly weighing down and their own bulk knocking into each other, forcing Apollo's gait into a slow, shuffling waddle, each step making his blubbery, bench-breaking rear bounce. His chest was like a pair of overstuffed pillows left resting atop the crest of his belly, and his arms were wrapped in thick reams of flab. The eagle's sculpted face had become soft and round, with billowing cheeks and his beak dipping into multiple chins.
His athletic career was over, obviously— unless the island suddenly got a sumo league. And yet, somehow, Apollo didn't mind. He was oddly popular now, and his new friends were a lot of fun to be around— of course, his disposition was greatly improved towards them, as they always came with food.
"Hey, Apollo!" Erik called out, hefting up a large box of popsicles. "Julian just bet me that you can't finish off this entire box in ten minutes- wanna help me make a few bells?"
Apollo rumbled, lazily patting his avalanche of a belly. "Pah, come on, then! I never could miss a chance to prove Julian wrong!"
