Dominic "Big Jack" Hawthorne became something of a "comfort character" to me over the summer, I guess.

In reality, I have a lot more in common with Big Jack than I do with a lot of my other 'sonas nowadays, at least in physical terms--I'm an awkward tall fat guy with a beard and glasses in my late 30s, and if I wanted to cosplay any of my characters it would be far easier to source a costume donkey tail and ears and some generic "redneck" attire than it would be to get a costume skunk tail or transform into an obese space antelope.
