This is the highest mountain in the Fichtelgebirge, called "Moun Snowberg in English (Schneeberg auf deutsch). The tower was used in the cold war to listen the communication in the former Sowjet states. Now it´s used for mobile phones.

I know what cell communication equipment looks like. Its the cold war stuff and the WWII equipment they came up with for spying that intrigues me. If I did not need to spell it I would remember the name but I would love to go to the place in England where they were wiretapping the Nazis Something park that still has a lot of the original gear in it as a museum.
