Hell yes, this is so good.

I like the abstracted face especially (I reluctantly predict this'll catch up as a fad in about a month or two...), it very successfully makes the work avoid banality (imho, it's always a genuine concern when working with anthropomorphic subject matter).

When you mentioned 3D, I was instantly: "WHAT?! He's going to give this away for some lousy 3d artist to ruin?.." I'm pretty sure there aren't many 3d artists who could successfully get the athmosphere of your vibrant brushwork across.
I'm relieved to find out you'll be making a stereographic image out of it. Looking forward to that. :)
