Dreams just take it too far sometimes.
I know some folk in the last page were like. hey she hasnt wet the bed, but I dunno maybe i need to ask the folk here, but everytime its happened to me (I'd like to add i havent wet the bed in like..a decade...mainly because i wear diapers LOL) but every time the bed HAS got unexplainably soaked the top sheet or duvet or whatever's covering me doesnt show any signs of that, only the sheet below. Is it just an art aesthetic reason behind making the duvet look wet or does that actually happen to folk? Like you just explode with wee and the ceiling is dripping and the cupboards and stuff?
If you really can't wait to see what happens next. The next TWO pages can be found on my patreon over here on the $10 tier https://www.patreon.com/squiggle

To answer the description section, I never had it happen that other than my mattress was wet from like leakages, but I haven't wet myself in a decade or so either, so I don't know, I'd assume that gravity would just pull the liquids downwards especially in bigger quantities.
In my expirience it depends on the sleeping position what gets wett. I would think especially for males the way where the pee flows may vary a lot depending on the position of specific body parts. It can be even on top of your belly where the sheet contacts. Or you have just turned around with the sheet while sleeping.
Fluids go down. I agree with "hiding" it under the first thick layer of blankets. There are enough people who've put photos of their wet beds up on various 'adult' sites that it's easy enough to confirm. Bed shows most of it, maybe the first layer of sheets with a small damp spot. I've definitely overthought this, time to get some rest, lol...
If someone had poured warm water on as a prank, then yes the blankets would also be wet. Otherwise probably not.

Speaking as someone who has renal issues and recently suffered a sepsis infection stemming from the kidneys/bladder (by recent I mean last year), I can say personally I soaked thru the hospital sheeta and covers, but I was also snuggle my blankets and tend to be a mummified sleeper so that may be why.
I had gone 12 years without incident before then, and now I gotta reset my record.
For what it's worth, I had had a kidney infection for about 8 months whie pregnant and when I gave birth the infection had hit me like a truck, but after 10 days in hospital and a PIC line later with some strong antibiotics I am doing so much better.

Before I started wearing protection every night, I've only ever got the top blanket a little bit wet. But it wasn't enough to really show or soak through. So more like damp at most. But I also sleep on my back in a recliner chair. So maybe that makes a difference?.. Idk lol.
Btw, I'd like to compliment that you nailed that shocked facial expression pretty well on that last panel!

When the duvet, ceiling and cupboards get inexplicably destroyed by the fire hydrant of wee that happens when you sleep and you survey the damage in the morning.

Truth be told duvet only got wet a few times, but it isn't often. May be a male anatomy thing... *Shrugs* usually just the sheets and mattress protector. Mostly when my diaper leaks and then it's up the back....

When I had an accident - well kinda on purpose - it was just the sheets. The l
Blanket were mostly intact.
To wet the blanket it would need a huge force of nature to pierce layers of clothes, then the thickness of the blanket/cover.
You know when you are trying to leave some bed sheets on the water, but they take ages to get fully soaked? It's kinda that, but it just don't have enough to do damage.

Yeah I think it's mostly artistic choice to show that the character wet the bed (and show it before the character realizes)
Edit while I still have time: I think it kinda depends on movement too tho. I move a LOT in my sleep, and sometimes my top blanket gets caught between my legs.

To answer you in the description stat: I actually wet the bed a year or two ago and yeah the sheet above and maybe the blanket above got wet, but the other 2+ blankets besides that were fine so it wasn't noticeable from just an outsiders look. So for your question the answer is yes and no, and that it really depends on how many layers you sleep with. Most of it will soak the bed/sheets under you, but a lil will go up top and if you don't have many layers is definitely noticeable.
And to story star: yes potty un training is real but won't happen that fast, you'll be fine

Officially you can get un-potty trained. Or diaper trained as I like tot ease people.
You have to remember that past maybe a few months, an infant is fully aware when they need to pee or..etc. The trick tends to be getting them to want to do it in the way you want them to do it. And because peeing your pants feels good (from certain points of view) and is more convenient, you basically have to make it more of a hassle for them to use their diapers than it is for them to go potty.
So basically you're doing the thing other way around. You have to make it more convenient for the little to wet them selves habitually than to go to the potty. Especially in public. Once you remove the stigma and teach the little that their bodily functions are for their caregiver to deal with on their schedule or convenience, teach them indifference to being wet unless it is getting really uncomfortable, not something they get to have a say over, you are most of the way there. Then you have to just focus on either teaching them to enjoy wetting or focus on the inconvenience of bladder control to make wetting the preferred action, rather than just complying to their caregiver's encouragement.
Big problem tends to be that people tend to allow their bladder fill up over time and then wet when they really feel the need to go, granted that feels better, again, assuming you want to enjoy using your diaper, but it also makes you more likely to leak, diapers are made to be used little by little as needed.
Diaper training is very much something you can do, but it does require the little and care giver both being fully committed to the little being biologically dependent on their caregiver. It is something that is for lifestyle littles more than people who just have a kink for it, because if you are only interested in the fantasy of being dependent on someone but the reality is something you are not willing to commit to, it will not work.
Sorry if I carried on a bit. I tend to deconstruct things into sociological and psychological motivators and observations. But yeah, you can absolutely diaper train your baby, but only if they actually want to be.

Oh, boy... a dream about a conservative, unaccepting father actively volunteering to participate in your ABDL fantasies. Yea, I would NOPE right outta that one, too! NO THANKS.
On the distribution of liquid while bedwetting, I would say this: considering that Star is a cisgender woman, the only part of a comforter or duvet that might be impacted might be the side closest to your body if certain, very specific, parameters are at play. It wouldn't necessarily soak through to the top side. The under sheets and mattress would definitely be much more affected. Gravity is definitely a thing as well as consideration for the form of the body. Liquids take advantage of the path of least resistance. If they don't have to work against gravity and your thighs, they won't. Thus, downward is the most reasonable flow track. You're gonna want to change your top AND maybe take a shower as well as change out of your soaked undies, no matter if you're a back, side, or tummy sleeper.

That kind of dream would scare someone to do that wonder what her roommate will say Star shouldn’t keep this quiet and it’s time to pull those diapers out of hiding and put them on before bed cause I think she will have more nightmares about what is happening in her life. Really like the story keep going!!
Like Star has dun here, i to have woken up to a wet bed. And i have had wet sheets like Star. Plus the top sheet i was sleeping under was wet, but it was only a little bit between my legs, like the size of a Australian 50 cent coin. And i didn't wet my bed all at once, it was a little bit at a time over the hole night. It was only in the last 5 to 10 minutes before i woke up that i wet a bit more then the rest of the night. And that's the bit witch wakes most people up. I would thought that Star would have at the leas, have had a mattress protector on her bed by now. Maby thats something that she should put on her list of things to do to baby prof her bed, nobody likes the smell of pee or a wet spot on a mattress when there trying to sleep. Lets hope Stars day has no more accidents.
look back at 511 when she saw her dad them she wetted her soggy in dream but actually happens in real life too
i do remember someone have wet dream or scary dreams cause them to wet they pant or else
i remember watching scary movie then fall asleep whiles movies still going n all suddenly wet my chairs and woke up with migraine it just randomly happens

I literally just wet the bed for the first time ever, on accident, at an unfamiliar place, so I definitely sympathize with Star... The dreams can be so real...
Also no, it soaks down, usually not even that much... the top sheet/duvet hardly gets wet... but below you where it matters... good luck going back to sleep c.c

see this is why little baby girl's need there night time protection
and yes potty training is just habit and muscle memory there is nothing keeping you from wetting yourself but training and conditioning of your mind once your subconscious registers that you can just go whenever, you want then you will.

Im not sure anyone is gonna read this, but yes you can unlearn that ^^ i did it by accident ^^ by not listening to what my body tells me ^^ I was quite embaressed when it happened and i had to talk about with health personal about it... now I thinks it a little silly story now that i ended up in the CG/Little relationship(as a CG)
Someone who rarely, but still does have nighttime accidents here. It kind of depends. I sleep in lotsa different positions, so if I'm sleeping on my stomach or side and have an accident, usually just the sheets and bed get wet, but if I'm on my back, the covers also get wet.
