Ravenclaws have been said to be very competitive and they were known to backstab or sabotage other students to get top marks. I think she almost could been a Slytherin, but was more academic focused instead of power ambitious.
I'm sure all houses (except maybe Hufflepuff?) would/could have bullies.

Kind of lame to have a house that's main quality is being the nicest.
At least Warrior Cats moved off that.

Gryffindor->Fighter
Ravenclaw->Wizard
Hufflepuff->Cleric, but make them modern clerics who can have evil or tricky gods or just be way overzealous.
