Hey all! Sorry for lack of uploading, been busy with work and life stuff as of late. So here’s a new sequence (no surprise) of a new Scooby Doo sequence I got last year around October! Hope y’all enjoy it! ^~^
Finding a neat costume shop down a mysterious ally, it peaked my curiosity. Walking inside it smelt of fall, costumes lined the walls and decor hung from the ceiling and walls, and lined the floor. The place was empty of life other then myself, spooky music played overhead for any customer to hear if they walked into the store ready for the Halloween season. After some time looking, I began to feel as if this place felt off, but I continued to look around. Walking down a few isles seeing costumes ranging from copyrighted characters from monster movies and old TV shows, animal costumes and costumes for any time period throughout history. Eventually coming across a desk in the back of the store, a man sitting in a chair smoking a cigar as he read the news paper as I looked. The man wore a button up shirt with a jacket over it, had a pair of reading glasses and jeans. His hair was brown but faded into a grayish color due to age. I approached,
“Excuse me sir, are you open? I’m looking for a costume for a Halloween party.” I asked as the smell of plastic and smoke from the man’s cigar stung my nose as if I was smoking the cigar myself. The man layed the grayed newspaper onto the desk in front of him and looked up at me, he wasn’t elderly but somewhere around his mid to late 50s. He smiles a bit, almost smirking like, as he got up. “Hey there son, why yes we’re open! Open all year long even, anything of interest you might be looking for?” The man said as he asked curiously, I looked around before answering, the thought didn’t really occur to me, my friends never settled on if we were doing a group costume for the party of everyone going solo and doing their own thing. I pondered as the man looked at me, thinking to myself I answered. “Um..we’ll I was thinking maybe something like a cartoony character of some kind. Me and my friends are going to a Halloween party together and I wasn’t sure if we were doing anything group themed so…” I said as he smiled more, “Do you have anything that might be great for a costume contest?” I asked finally. The man stood up fully and crossed his arms, “Son, I’ve got costumes ranging from all kinds, a collection you could say. I might have something for ya, but you’d have to be more specific about what your really looking for.” He said as he made his way around the desk as he grabbed a book that layed on yeh edge of his desk. “We’ll, it’s kinda silly but do you have…any Scooby Doo costumes?” I asked with a sigh as I waited for his to give me a weird look or laugh in my face. But the laugh never came nor did the strange look, only is stuck smile and his gaze. “I might have some here somewhere, I can check the back for ya if you want.” He exclaimed. “Yeah! That’ll be great if you have some.” I replied with a smile, he nodded as he walked towards the back of the store behind him, the store was fully of stuff but lighting was sorta dim. After the man has disappeared for a moment, he returned with a dusty box as he layed it onto the table.
“Alrighty son, might have some items here that’ll catch your interest.” The shop owner said. I walked over as he stepped away and looked down at the box, it was a decent size but not too much bigger then a average car tire. I open the box and see the items on the very top, I reached in and pulled a few of the items out.
List of items:
- A collar
- A package with clear wrapping around it that contained a pair of ears and a tail
- A mask of Scooby Doo
- A few costumes that either didn’t fit or wasn’t exactly what I was looking for
- And finally a Onesie
I looked at everything from the box and thought to myself, but after some time passes I eventually pick my choice. “I think I’ll take the onesie here, looks like good quality stuff!” I said as I held the package the costume was contained in. Each item was individually wrapped so most of them were brand new. “Ah, a good choice indeed! That’s a new product that came in a few days ago. Top quality products here boy, I promise you that.” He said nodding once more to me. “We’ll I thank you sire for helping me, I just hope it fits me right. Last time I got a costume like this it looked baggy and goofy on me.” I said kinda jokingly. “No sir son, I promise you this, it’ll fit you like a glove, almost like…a second skin perhaps.” He said with a slight giggle, I laugh along as the man seemed to know something about the costumes I didn’t. He then headed back to the desk to ring me up, “Okay, that’ll be $30.” He said, I stop in my tracks after hearing the price, “wait, $30 for this good of quality? Your pulling my leg sir, tell me how much I really owe you.” I said laughing but he shook his head. “No, payment is $30, no more no less.” He said, I grabbed my wallet and paid cash. I smiled and waved back at the man behind the counter before disappearing into the isles of costumes.
A few days Later…
It was almost Halloween! “Hopefully the guys like my costume!” I said to myself in the mirror, it’s been a few days later since I walked into the costume shop. My curiosity was getting the better of me as I looked back behind me at my desk where the costumed layed across my chair. Walking over, I open the package and pulled out the costume. The fur was soft to the touch, the smell of new leather and plastic filled my nose as the costume had a bit of weight to it. Tossing the plastic packaging to the side, I unwrap the costume and walked back to the mirror to hold it up to get an idea of the length of the onesie. As I did, it took I second for me to notice the length almost matched my height perfectly, strange but a good thing to see. I turn it around as I held a big smile on my face and grabbed the zipper. Something cute as a small detail was the zipper with Scooby Doo’s dog tag, I chuckled to myself as I unzipped it down to the crotch. Kicking off my shoes and socked, I step into the onesie.
After stepping into the onesie, it felt soft to the touch and warm inside. The lining was really nice quality like the man said, I pulled on foot through one leg hole at a time. After having both legs inside, I pull it up around my waist. My excitement growing as a warm feeling started to come around me, my legs and waist feeling comfortable and relaxed. I pull it up and slide my left arm slowly into the sleeve, the warm feeling over taking my hand as it eventually slide out at the end of the sleeve, my finger nails had darkened and brown fur has started to grow on the top of my hand. Looking up at it, I had to be imagining it! I was only imaging it as my hand continued to change right in front of my eyes. Paw pads forming on my palm as two of my fingers merged and formed one big finger. My entire left had had morphed into that of a paw like hand, my nails were more claw like and it almost looked as if my wrist was starting to merge with the sleeve of the onesie itself. Meanwhile on my right foot, my toes started to shift and begin the same change that overtook my left hand…
