Anyone who has ever done model sheets knows that it's boring as fuck and no one really likes looking at them. This is probably not even a finalized version, but rather practice nailing down what their faces look from different angles. I didn't make the up or down shots all that extreme, just wanted to map the subtle changes in eye shape and what-have-you when they tilt their head a certain way. I also just made tons of notes on things I was drawing frequently as a character trait that helps to differentiate them.
I don't like uploading my sketches much because.. they're unfinished. I'll be posting pretty much all my sketches at my tumblr account now, but the rest of the stuff for FA will be coloured works at the very least. This is just kinda to show what my brain process is like I guess.

x3 I love how you draw them!!!! I wanna find someone like you who could draw my character but this isn't a charity so I'll keep that for another day :3 but I love how you draw them! ^^ you do eyes great. I have a problem with eye placement but yours always strikes me when i see it because they look great ^^
I personally love them, I love looking at in process work since for me the process is one of the most important elements to the product of the piece. It definitely shows a clear thinking and although this is the more refined version of the character head sheets, it's still fantastic. I love the displayment of thinking with the littered words all around.
This is awesome, keep it up! I wouldn't mind seeing your sketches because there's something about unfinished work that has a really beautiful quality of them!

Haha, well, I don't mind looking at them either to tell the truth, but they're just generally not as exciting as other work. I do like looking at sketches though to see how people approach the subject... I erased most of my underdrawing/guides though so in this case that's not of much help lol. Thanks!
