Been also holding out some other art as well i recently got colored in. This picture was colored in recently. Won't be shaded in cuz i needed to get this thing colored in as it has been more than an entire year since the lineart of the art has been created. Yet another concept art of what i wanna go for when i'll eventually make the infantry refsheet and the cannon's refsheet.

Main Image Description:

These guys are my interpretation of the bigshot and his cannon in my AU. A crew consisting of three salmon, Field Officer, Gunner and Loader, these three work in tandem to provide artillery support or aggressive offensive anti armor support whenever needed on the battlefields of the world. The main cannon, being the Slimelocke Firearms Ordnance Quick-Firing 6-pounder "Slimecharger". Made from refurbished models or copied off the old world British QF 6 Pounder field cannon. The Cannon has been equipped with what was a tennis ball shooter that was retooled for hopper-feeding ammunition through as it's main breech.

The Slimecharger Cannon can utilize both breech-loading mechanisms and Hopper-feed auto-loading mechanisms too. The Two modes trad in accuracy for rate of fire and vice-versa. For when rapid bombardment of an area is needed, or precision strikes with the Slimecharger cannon for taking our key and critical targets. The Slimecharger cannon has a couple of different rounds to fire, But the main two rounds are mostly AP and HE rounds. Their tips hallow and filled with salmon slime, thanks to the caustic toxic effects the Salmon slime has on non-salmonids.

So potent in fact, they can mostly melt through armor that's not treated to the natural acidic effects of the slime. Making these rounds, both types and the other versions, excellent tank poppers! Sometimes, the Slime in the warheads of the shells is unfiltered from the mouth and saliva of a salmonid him or herself when more machine-refined slime isn't available. Thus making shells for the Slimecharger cannons can be perfect for Guerilla warfare when need be, as the Gunner and Loader are trained in making shells by hand when the going gets tough and supplies are low.

These trios of gunner, loader and officer are proud to be part of the Codmonwealth forces of the Salmannican Empire, as these men hail from their home country of Arrapistralia, where they are prided as the world's best cannoneers. Relying upon the rough training and exercises to make sure these fish are the most elite of this "class" of Salmannican Infantry. Even if they aren't directly in the Salmannican Military itself and more part of the Arrapistralia's Military instead. But their Slimecharger cannons are manufactured in the United Kingdom of Great Salmannica as part of a Lend Lease program.
