This art is OLD, posted on Elfwood back in 2004 (I used to own flipflops like those, I wore them all the time, lol)
Considering how the last 2 months have been I felt this image was quite appropriate.
This is what my costume muse has been doing all this time while my art and story muses held me hostage.
What I wrote at Elfwood:
Artist block, we all go through it, and i blame my Muse. in Greek mythology there are the nine Muses, the nine goddesses of the arts and sciences-but a muse is also considered to be a female spirit, like a guardian angel type spirit, that every one has who gives them ideas, feelings and inspiration ....Well here is my muse on vacation and the result is artist block!!!! when my drawings just don't have that spark and that extra umph that makes them so unique its because my muse is to occupied with chewing gum and playing video games to help me (by the way i think she wants you to move over, your blocking the TV...)
i drew this due to my case of artist block, even a fan pointed out that i am loosing my touch (i agree), and i believe it is because of summer vacation as i draw less because drawing is how i amuse myself during school, i hardly sit down and draw during the summer and so my skills and ideas are rusty.
