Bert, Ralph, Lisa and Schaeffer decided to participate in a contest called "The Battle of the Bands" in the Evergreen Forest!
And the song they decided to sing was "The Final Countdown" (originally performed by Europe), and they did their best to perform it...up to the point where the judges unanimously decided to give them the first place as the best!
Way to go guys! And now let's rock and say:
"It's the final countdown
The final countdown
The final countdown (final countdown)
(Oh)
It's the final countdown
We're leavin' together
(The final countdown)
We'll all miss her so
It's the final countdown (final countdown)
(Oh)
It's the final countdown
Yeah!"

Bob Dermer (Ralph) is appearing at Hamilton Comic Con (Ontario) this coming weekend in case you're nearby. He's an absolute delight to talk to if you have the chance.
Sorry for the very late reply my friend!!!

But Final Countdown is the very first song on the CD! I remember listening to it quite a bit in 2012!
Not only do I think it's cute and interesting that Bert and the other Raccoons characters are singing this, I find it cool when cartoon characters sing, or cover, real songs by real singers! I like to imagine cartoon characters covering real-world songs too! I even like to imagine myself or one of my OCs singing those songs with those cartoon characters!
One example is Doki Spott from Doki Adventures singing "Gotta Get Your Groove On," by Tevin Campbell! And there's a picture of that, well two:

In fact I picture him singing Campbell's songs, two of which were also featured in the Goofy Movie!
Great job!
I still dig 80s music plus I was born that decade and still remember a lot of songs from before 1990, even singing many of them as a toddler/preschooler!
If The Raccoons were still going today, maybe Bentley can teach Bert, Ralph and Melissa how to use a computer for when The Evergreen Standard newspaper eventually goes digital.
