Yeah and that’s the result of a $1.00 / gallon carbon tax policy that was passed in the legislature.

Well I guess I should say that includes the federal 75 cent/ gallon tax too.

Just a correction it's ~18 cents federal tax and ~58 cents California's tax. I'm curios about the carbon tax.

is it infrastructure week yet? There's no reason Sacramento shouldn't have world class walkability and transit as a B-list city and a state capitol.

That's bad when it's near the U.K price for diesel, conversion rate etc.. works out at $7.67 and we have expensive fuel compared to continental Europe :( My mother in law lives in Stockton and can see why she's complaining about fuel prices
