After winning the Alola Tournament, Naganadel approached the Pokémon Trainer for one last time and grants him the Beast Belt, a special belt that can turn the user into any of the Ultra Beasts. And since Naganadel was his favorite, Ash quickly strapped the Beast Belt around his waist to try it on. The center of the belt emits a blue-ish purple glow, which began to transform Ash into a Naganadel!

The metamorphosis began by growing wings behind his back, his legs merging together with his belly as it becomes his huge abdomen. He felt his brain exiting down through his head and into his new wasp-like abdomen, while three large, syringe-like needles pop out of the bottom, ripping his pants completely to shreds.

While Ash is trying to figure out how he still retained his brain despite it now being relocated below his waist, his arms becoming more draconic, growing out purple claws from the tips of his fingers, while spikes pop out of his shoulders, cutting the sleeves off his shirt, and finally, Ash's neck grew longer, tusks grow from the sides of his cheeks, as his face was turning into that of an alien dragon while his eyes began to glow and widened across his face, looking like a visor of some sort, and a long spiked crest grew at the top of his head, while his hat remains intact.

Now with his new Ultra Beast body, Naganadel Ash has gained a lot of intelligence than he had before. He quickly thought about giving himself a brand new alias that suits his style, and he thought up “Toxic Lightning” as quick as a flash, since he's a Poison-Type, and can fly at lightning speed. Unlike any Naganadel, Toxic's scale colors range from blue to cyan, his abdomen is much rounder and larger (which means that his brain inside it has grown bigger), and his overall body size two times bigger than the size of a regular Naganadel (which is about 11 feet 10 inches).

Toxic Lightning, formally known as Ash Ketchum, now has the ability to easily access Ultra Space at any given time and perhaps meet with Naganadel again soon at Poipole's world. Toxic knows that the purple wasp Ultra Beast would be more than satisfied to see his former human trainer now as one of his kind.
