Rabbit Hole Day - The Millionaire
A couple years ago, and good fur on LJ proposed a special event to honor Lewis Carol's birthday (27 January). The event was "Rabbit Hole Day".
On that day, he proposed we all take a trip "down the rabbit hole" in our live journals: grow an exta pair of limbs, date an insect, do something completely wild and whimsical.
Vargr loved the idea!
This is the entry from that first Rabbit Hole Day. A short, simple entry from a fur quite the opposite of this dragonwuff: Lean, fit, obsessed with looks and staying in shape, wealthy, and a feline! It's set in the far future, and gives an interesting glimpse of the way the 'very upscale furs' might be living then.

It was a lot of fun to write this and try to come up with all those neat "inventions". Wanted to make the setting futuristic, but still verge on the possible.
"Mad Midge" was fun to imagine too! *big grin* Hooray for emerald ferrets with a 'thing' for lion tail tufts.

This wuff especially likes the "rabbit hole" idea, for the opertunity to 'stretch his legs' (metaphorically speaking). Each year, Vargr has tried to take the idea somewhere wuffy normally 'didn't go'. For instance, with the "Millionaire", wuff tried to come up with a character who was just about the physical and social opposite of Vargr's fur-self in every way possible. Last year's "The Book" looked at "fate as a fortune cookie", when wuff is more of the opinion that "we make our own fate".
But, best of all, Rabbit Hole Day was a chance to have as much fun with writing as wuffy could. Xydexx should be commended for coming up with the idea.
