Anthro gorillas are such a rarity in this community - you're the only other person I've seen with a prominent one! Looks quite ticklish too

X3 I'm so glad that you like him it seems! Its all thanks to Rico. I was thinking about a primate character to have and well, due to my not great drawing creativity, my friend hunkered down on it. I was thinking of having a primate since I do like primates characters (...and their grabby hand like feet because I'm a dork) And he delivered very well what I was thinking. Anthro gorillas are VERY rare. I admit at first I was stumped on what kinda primate it should be. I was thinking moreso orangutaun, but then he mentioned a gorilla and it just hit in terms of "Yeah yeah! That works perfectly!" And so here Joey is! I can assure you, your assumption is correct. He is 'quite' the ticklish type indeed. Quite the giggly sort, although he'll try to fight it as much as he can.

There might be a sort of uncanny valley effect with gorillas; the real-life animals are so close to humans already that it wouldn't surprise me if people in the community felt a slight aversion to the idea.
But the few tickling pics I've seen involving them have usually been pretty good.
