Teenage Coney.
if you don't know me by now, then one of the first things you'll learn is that I was a bit of a Kevin & Kell stan back in 2009-10. I even wrote a 150-page fanfic, that's how big I was (not going to type it down since I've skimmed through it in recent years and yikes). if you don't know what Kevin & Kell is, it's this super-long-running webcomic by Bill Holbrook with super-light satire and social commentary, all revolving around a fully-anthropomorphic world that is secretly controlled by birds. it more or less revolves around the inter-species relationship between, well, Kevin (a giant rabbit) and Kell (a businesswoman wolf) and how that impacts the lives of their children: Kevin's adopted college kid Lindesfarne (hedgehog or porcupine depending on what story arc you're in), Kell's problem teen Rudy (a wolf/fox hybrid who's pretty much now the focus on the strip), and Kevin & Kell's actual progeny, the wolf-rabbit hybrid Coney. very, very, very slowly, the strip has actually progressed - Rudy's now almost out of college, Lindesfarne's in the working world, and Coney is now eight or ten. somewhere along those lines.
but I figured that since her story arcs now are what Rudy's would've been back in 1995-02, plus Bill Holbrook tends to have a super-verbose style to his dialogue, I assumed Coney was a tween. and that got me thinking - "what would Coney as a teen be like?" She wouldn't be like Rudy, that's for sure - she's not enough of a problem child (she already has to deal with being a hybrid) and, while intelligent as all members of the Dewclaw family are, isn't a super-genius like Lindy. Coney would probably be a bit more like her biological parents - her father's strength, her mother's savvy - and maybe some elements of her older siblings (more than likely Rudy's fashion sense since Coney's starting to have tomboyish elements written into her character).
but I figured, "nah, I just watched a preview of the WallStreetBets comedy film, Coney would trade stonks and bankrupt R.L."
also if I keep revisiting 2010 i'm gonna draw Joel Calley by the end of this year
