Legend has it that Palavera City was founded by a group of settlers when they found a pigeon with skull markings on its head as it stood at the edge of a desert, next to the sea. In spite of the palavera being functionally nonexistent, it continues to be the mascot and namesake of Palavera City, the setting for Radioaesthetica.
