Dont be complaining about tornadoes I'm in the oklahoma county and survived the May 3rd tornado 1999 AND the May 8th tornado of 2003. 2 F5 tornadoes. I've survived a bit, you on the other hand just get the smaller ones.

we never went inside for tornadoes in Amarillo, everyone hears the sirens and gets out and either climbs ontop of their roofs or stands outside to look/watch them.

Aww yeah, I remember that 8| I lived in a little town outside Amarillo and we'd always go to the cellar when the sirens would go off. One time I was at a friend's apartment in Amarillo and as soon as it became an official tornado warning, what did everyone to? RUN OUTSIDE TO WATCH LOL. I got my windshield busted out by hail during that particular storm though :/ boo

haha jeez, but yeah, amarillo people are funny when it comes to that. Like turkeys staring into the sky with their mouths agape while it's pouring, likely to drown XD Those little towns though around amarillo always get messed up, i'm wondering if it's the buildings and what not that help break the wind or something.

yes tornadoes are scary but I have also lived in central Oklahoma and had a tornado sweep away most of a church (That I was inside at the time) and I can tell you there are Much worse things in this world to be truly scared of....

Heh, I was kinda wondering for a moment there, and I was thinking "You wouldn't like one if it came through your town and destroyed millions in property!" XD As someone who has personally seen/been through a tornado-not really fun. Though this one did tear the roof off the school, so we got two weeks off while they cleared the debris and all, so that was nice.

I used to live in the Texas panhandle, aka tornado alley :) So I'm not unfamiliar with the business end of a funnel cloud lol! Fortunately never had much property damage but places really close by did. Will never forget looking out the kitchen window one time and just seeing a tornado there and being like "o___o Mom..."

which caused millions of dollars of damage.
