Hug him, in a friendship way. He may get angry but a true friend would not stop talking with him. But Arturo will never know how close their friendship will be without taking chances... so long as he does not push too hard or too fast.

I know to Biro (the little fox) very well, I do not think he stopped talking to him, or even that he was angry, but at the time Arthur has a very big dilemma, the kind that doesn't know what to do

Tell him to go for it. If he doesn't he could end up regretting it for the rest of his life. I had an opportunity like that once and I let it go. One of only a couple things I would go back and change if I could. If he loses a friend at least he will have his answer.

you are quite right, he shouldn't miss this opportunity, I think we've all experienced something like that, and we always regret not having done so.
But I know Biro very well (Biro is the little fox), and I doubt he will be angry with Arturo, he like very much to his friend raccoon

In my opinion, even people who are "just friends" hug each other. It's a sign of kinship and caring. I vote he hugs.

Also, "Did I use deodorant?" My favorite line- so cute! :3

I know this situation so well its untrue ^_^
but luckely for me it all turned out well in the end and im with the same drawgy that fell asleep in my arms all those years ago =3

Reminds me of when I was in high school. I was sitting next to my best friend whom I had just came out to at the time, on a bus all the way to San Diego from New Mexico. I would just see him sleeping, and wonder how he could break a heart without even meaning or wanting to.
