Chibi myths: Chimera
Last year we had started a little project called "Myhtober", where each day of October we'd draw the lineart of a chibi mythological creature, and these would have eventually been put all together in a tiny coloring book. In the end we didn't have the time to go through with that, but this doesn't mean we can't revive the project in another form ;)
So expect a little creature to pop up in your feed sometimes, and today's myth is... the chimera! She's a fierce monster from Greek mythology, often described as having the body and head of a lion, a fire-breathing goat head on her back, and a snake-headed tail. Although she was a specific creature, sibling of Cerberus and the Lernaean Hydra, over time the term "chimera" has also been used to describe any mythical hybrid creatures composed of various, heterogeneous animal parts.
