Earlier we talked about the masks of the fallen guardians, artefacts that hold within them the soul of an Oni who has succumbed to the dark forces. Follow this bookmark if you want to reread the chapter on this subject .

Masks are the most classic artefacts for these guardians. In fact, they were the inspiration for a few plays in the regions where these creatures were found. But they are not the only form of prison for these ferocious warriors : sometimes, having no time to carve a mask, mortals have fallen back on a more immediate option.

From then on, we can see artefacts bearing these fallen souls in more everyday objects or in objects that the guardian used during his lifetime.

Such is the case with this magnificent necklace that a collector asked me to take from my private collection. I asked him to give it back to me when he died, but his cursed offspring decided otherwise and sold it at a flea market.
Unfortunately for our colleague interested in this priceless artefact,   loldude94 , the spirit contained in the necklace saw in him a perfect host.

The collector's offspring is no more, but a long-standing friend came to visit me and bring back a few things. What old memories we evoked together...
