Commission [or rather a trade :P]: Fox Transformation
A little something i did for
shadowfox014 for a trade. my first transformation on paint. and well a white empty background. the shading was fun to play with on this, same with the whiskers. i tried some new things with the light that i haven't tried on paint before. i hope that's ok. and that white thing over down there laying flat is a sock :P. enjoy :D.

The socks can be a real pain to get off when changing. I go through so many pairs of socks that way...

It's a very nice interpretation. One thing though, the ears seem a tad low, they're lower than human ears would be (they begin right above our jawbone.)
It would be nice to see you with a tablet and Painter Pro, Photoshop, Gimp or some other (better) software than MS Paint. Look around for a used tablet. I found one at a college surplus sale, an old WACOM 4x8 (serial) for $40. I have it attached to my brand new computer, the motherboard selected specifically because it had a serial port. I run it through Linux into my Windows on a VM and it works perfectly that way. I don't think a serial tablet will work with newer Windows software so you may have to either get a dual boot to run something like Windows 2000 or Linux both of which still support the serial port (and if Windows 7 does fully support a serial Wacom tablet, feel free to correct my misinformation!)
You have a good talent for this. Get some good equipment and run with it. Otherwise, consider traditional medium until you get a tablet.
Thanks for sharing it with us. May we all one day become that which we wish or otherwise are in our souls.

Yeah the ears are quite low. Oh well it's fine.
I did try to figure out Photoshop at school but I couldn't understand it too well. I do enjoy working with layers, though. I play around on iscribble.net. That's where I learned the magic of layers. And also how awesome it would be to have a tablet. What is a cheaper program I could get?
I also want to get into animation. I did a bit of it on paint and wmm and boy it was a pain. I found a nice simple one I like but lack money.
Unfortuately I can't put any of my traditional work on here when I lack a scanner.
Amen to that

GIMP is a program for Linux that I think is also available for Windows. It is an open-source program similar to Photoshop.
As for Photoshop, check around for older used versions, or if you're a student, you can buy the student edition for only $200 or less I think (for the whole CS package.)
Scanners are also quite inexpensive. Check your local thrift stores. Make sure you find one that is 16bit color depth at least, which you can tell by looking up the model numbers. Most people use multi-function machines, and only some of those have 16bit color, so your flatbeds, which are quite readily available, are probably your best bet.
Best of luck.
