The sequence that landed me with SPLITTER ,who translated MYRE into German! :)
It was the best thing ever, because this sequence I changed at the last minute before sending Vol. 1 out to the print store! In the original version from 2015, it was very different! It was shorter and more explosive. When Myre Vol. 1 was complete, my style had changed SO dramatically that I went back to change most of the first chapters. This means that there's a ton more unreleased art to see. :) It was an overall interesting process, and the extra work I really didn't mind putting in to make everything look more consistent.
The first version of the sequence is from 2015. :) Crazy, how time flies by!
MYRE Vol. 2 is going smoothly and I'm really happy about it. I want to hold an AMA very soon, and will keep you updated about it!

That's one of the reasons I try to take a couple week every year to go hiking in the back country. One year, it was the Appalachians; another, it was the Rockies. The high plains, the Southwestern mesas, the Sierras, the Canadian Shield... As long as I'm sufficiently far from civilization and other people for at least a few days, it's a calming, purifying experience. The days are alive with the sounds of nature you simply can't hear in a city or town, and the nights can—at times—be so silent that you can hear your own heartbeat. Sailing in open ocean is a similar experience. The peace quickly overwhelms you, and you don't want to let it go.
