IRL, the scent of skunk-spray is supposedly minimal to none, at least in a skunk that hasn't sprayed lately.
My parents had a skunk living under the house for a while. You could pop off a vent and look down into the crawl-space and see it, like 3 or 4 feet away. The only scent I noticed was a mild generic mammal-type smell. But that's as close as I've been, maybe you can sense a funk if you are closer.
I actually like the smell of a little spray on the wind. Of course, at higher concentrations it's like tear gas.
BTW, I'm glad to see that you are still drawing and sharing!
