The NEVERWAS reaction, as translated roughly from a Spectarrian word, was once held an impossible reaction of an almost fictional isotope, the newly discovered and properly named NOWIS (Now-Is) isotope, another rough translation of Spectarrian word, was a scientific feat that brought Professor Mikino into esteemed fame within his species.

Almost discouraged by the Nebula Xaviors, but now made possible by the work or the Spectarrian Chemistry Division (Spearheaded by Professor Mikino himself) to discover the NEVERWAS Reaction, and the very compliant help of the Spectarrian Mechanical Engineering division to create the NEVERWAS reactor. This team effort has created a source of energy, almost transcendent in itself, far greater and easier to control than a great star.
