I absolutely love simple graphic design appeal and the 1970's are a hallmark for me of this ethos because of the very visible hand-worked nature of the images produced which stands in contrast to the highly polished advertising images you see today through the use of computer tools.

There's a huge split in the '70's however. On the one hand you have the 1970's that everyone remembers for horrible clothes and disco, and then there is the 1970's that people seem to forget which encompassed FUNK.

Remember the FUNK, people. Remember.
