Last year we had started a little project called "Myhtober", where each day of October we'd draw the lineart of a chibi mythological creature, and these would have eventually been put all together in a tiny coloring book. In the end we didn't have the time to go through with that, but this doesn't mean we can't revive the project in another form ;)

So expect a little creature to pop up in your feed sometimes, and today's myth is... the Hydra! The Lernaean Hydra, often known just as Hydra, is a multi-headed reptilian monster from Ancient Greek mythology. It was so deadly that every one of its heads had poisonous breath, and even its blood was so toxic that just its scent could be lethal. Of course, the trait that made the Hydra famous is the number of its heads! Like its siblings Cerberus and Chimera, Hydra had several heads and was rendered almost immortal by the fact that, if someone was to cut one of its head, two will soon take the lost head's place!
