A character design idea I had: worn out, slightly androgynous, mafia type.
I also wrote a bit of story to go with it:
"Ronnie? The woman with a bullet for an eye? I know of her: she was this two bit crook that stabbed people for a quick buck while bragging that she’s a 'big shot assassin'. Well, that was ‘til she got that bullet her right eye after sticking that knife in a rock instead of a tree. But while that’d be the end of the story for others, not only did she survive, it 'awakened' a new survival instinct in her, the need to fight harder now. Supposedly, mere moments after the blinding gunshot she sliced her attacker to shreds. Nowadays, if she’s paid to hunt you down, you can consider yourself lucky if you even get to see her knife before it is coming down straight into your heart."
Might be a bit too cheesy.
Overall I like how it came out, but I feel that the pose might come across as one of those smug Youtuber avatars (hence the title).
Background was also rushed, I really had no idea what to do but also didn't want to make it abstract.
Line art is also a bit sketch-y, but I think it works in giving the character a rough feel.
