Look at their expressions, at the colours, at these gorgeous wings and his antannae doing the thing where they are PART of his expression!!
This is such a beautiful tf and such a gorgeous progression and they seem really flustered about it, yet somewhat okay, ohmygosh this feels wholesome and I love it! <3
Also: he looks handsome as frick. 10/10 would ask to hug!
And thank yoou! this one def felt best being startled but an adorable outcome! I wanted to focus more on the way wings curl out like they do on moths/butterfly when they crawl out of their cocoon!
These shrivelled up wings unfurling and spreading out, then collapsing behind them is such a lovely detail.

To clarify as I'm not 100% sure, is his comment about "this is one way to come out..." referencing the fact that only male luna moths have the extra-feathery antennae?
