They became a biologist from always having a fascination with life; but very little was a mystery on their home planet, so exploring the cosmos to study extraterrestrial lifeforms is their new frontier. But you wouldn't really be able to tell all this since their emotions are nonexistent and voice is monotone. And even though everything they do is driven by self-interest, they still seem nice.
