I wanted to try my hand at something slightly different: mixing. I went around FA looking for what I thought were the best remixes/covers of Bemani songs, and mashed them all together. I figured it would be pretty neat.

So here's how this works. None of the songs sampled in this mix belong to me in any way. Below is a track list citing original artist and submission.

(Is this even ok to post? This looks like a gray area in the AUP. Since none of the original audio is mine, only the compilation, I'm declaring that this is a mix 'by me' and the citations below justify this as a collaborative effort. If this is an issue I'll just take it down.)

I'm frustrated that after I went to make sure nothing was clipping during the transitions, they all turned out too quiet. I should have just said "screw it" and let the program deal with the (nonexistent) clipping and distortion. Seriously. You wouldn't have even noticed.

Other than that, I'm pretty happy with how the tracks flow together. I tried to make it sort of a roller coaster, starting out a little slower, getting energetic, coming down, a small 'up' at the end, and then a soft landing (get it?). Best part: this is the perfect play length for my commute home from work.
